Character/Rank Rules and Limitations

1. Do not make your character overpowered or it will be denied quickly. Ex. Putting banned Jutsu, or just over stuffing your character with everything, with no limits.

2. If a staff member sees something wrong with something you create, and you feel they are the wrong one, then bring it up politely. Do not insult or argue.

3. Ranks of Jutsu usuable by ninja rank are listed and set, so please use them.

4. Do not steal other peoples Jutsu unless you have their permission. -Custom Jutsu Only Apply Here-

5. Just like Jutsu, elements are limited by your Ninja Rank as well.

6. Right now, only two characters are allowed per person. When the site gets more people, the rule will be stretched a little.

7. If you make another character, you can NOT use it to train your previous character in any way. Nor can you give items or make any trades with the character without a staff members approval.

8. If a rank is not open to sign up for, you must work your way to it in RP.

9. Considering some special groups can be closed at time, and require you to RP your way into the group, you may have join as a regular village ninja, and must stay in that village for at least a week before working your way into that group in RP. Just so we don't have people trying to void the rule by creating a ninja and immediately going to that group. (This rule may be voided with the approval of the head admin)

10. Currently, some high tech stuff is allowed considering this is pretty far ahead in the future, but any type of high tech gadgets or weaponry must be approved by the head admin. And for high tech weaponry, you must be granted access to making it. If the head admin does not approve of you making the weapon it will be denied.

11. Just like Rule 9, even missing ninja, or people already in a group have a waiting time as well after getting into the group. If someone wishes to leave a group they were approved into, they must wait a week, and be active within that week. As for missing ninja going to Akatsuki or other groups that would normally accept them, they must wait a week like everyone else. (This rule may be voided with the approval of the head admin)

12. When making a second character, if your first character was directly approved as one of the limited spots (Chuunin, Jounin, Leaders), your second character must start as a Genin, unless otherwise given permission by the Head Admin.

Academy Student
Academy students make up the student body of the Ninja Academy, where they are trained and prepared for life as a shinobi. They are not an actual part of the shinobi force, as they are still in the process of mastering the very basics of the ninja lifestyle. However, they can be conscripted as part of the war potential in times of emergency. Academy students spend their time honing the various skills they are required to have and undergoing various tests and exams to see how they progress. Besides ordinary school subjects such as history and mathematics, they are taught the basics of ninjutsu, taijutsu, and most likely also genjutsu. This includes learning about chakra and how to control it, tactics, hand seals, and several E-rank techniques, such as the Clone Technique and the Transformation Technique. They are also trained in working both individually and in teams. Eventually they are given a graduation test to see if they are ready to try and become genin. Passing this test does not automatically grant them this title, as they need to pass a second test given by their jounin instructor, but they do receive a forehead protector. Those who fail either of these tests are sent back to the Academy. The requirements for graduating vary from village to village.

Genin

Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or, rarely, on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work that have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved. Genin are put in four-man cells or squad, consisting of three genin and a jounin-sensei, in order to learn teamwork and experience true ninja life under the supervision and protection of an elite shinobi. Though genin are relatively low-levelled ninja, they can progress to become a chuunin, by successfully completing the chuunin exams, a set of difficult tasks made to test the skills of genin to see whether or not they should be chuunin.

Chuunin

Chuunin are ninja who are qualified to guide other ninja and lead missions. Chuunin have reached a level of maturity and ability that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. Genin who do not have the skills to become chūnin are weeded out in the chūnin exams. Chuunin are typically sent on C-rank or B-rank missions. To become a chuunin, a genin participates in a large examination, known as the "Chuunin Exams". Those who pass the test and become chuunin can wear an identifying flak jacket that holds ninjutsu scrolls. This vest is not mandatory; instead, some opt for more elaborate clothing like capes and robes.

Jounin

Jounin are generally highly-experienced shinobi with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced jōnin may even be sent on S-rank missions. It is not unusual for jounin to go on missions alone. To become a Jounin, a Chuunin must be apointed as worthy by their Kage. (Staff approval is also demanded). When a ninja becomes a jounin, they may be assigned a three-man genin team to supervise. One part of their duties is to help instruct and train these genin to become competent ninja.

Kage

A Kage is the leader of one of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally are also the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. They are collectively known as the Five Kage. The Hokage leads Konoha. The Mizukage leads Kirigakure. The Raikage leads Kumogakure. The Tsuchikage leads Iwagakure. And the Kazekage leads Sunagakure.

-Missing Ninja are equivalent to whatever letter rank they are, and are bound by those limitations as well. (Ex. C rank missing ninja must follow C rank Genin restrictions.)

-Akatsuki Are equivalent to whatever rank they join as, most likely being Jounin.

-Leaders are equivalent to Kage Rank. (Ex. Akatsuki Leader, Group Leaders)
