This clan was founded in the Hidden Mist Village by a man known as Ryu SubZero, he developed these Ice styles and spread it throughout his family. However, this requires having the elemental affinities of both Wind and Water in order to produce these abilities. Ryu was a very skilled swordsman whom earned his place in the Hidden Mist by besting each of the Seven Swordsmen. The rest is slightly unknown to the rest of the members as Ryu was a quiet man and died from old age a year ago. So his origins will be unknown forever, the Clan now resides in the snowey area of Kiri where they can hone their frost abilities to the maximum.


Ice Release: Cryokinesis is the kekkei genkai which allows the user to create and utilize complete cold and ice manipulation. Clan members with this power are able to shoot rays of intense cold from their hands, feet or eyes, fire off icy constructs, and radiate cold all around them. They also have the ability to create ice crystals. The pent-up energy will finally become too much for the user's physiology to withstand, making them so intensely cold that they will start shivering on a hot summer day until they fully master their abilities. When they master their abilities they will have complete ice manipulation which causes their enemies tobe frozen in ice with an absolute zero temperature, which is so cold to the point where even the electrons stop moving in an atom. SubZero clan members are able to form a rising column of ice beneath his feet, capable of lifting him off the ground. The tensile strength of the column is determined by its thickness, and its steadiness by how well it has been braced. A well-braced and regular column, 6 feet in diameter at its base, is able to support his weight without toppling for about 85 feet in a 40-mile per hour wind. By forming long ice-ramps connected either to his ice-column or to an existing structure like a building or a bridge, the user is able to travel above the ground by sliding down the ramp he is creating. Unless he creates supports periodically, the ramp will crack beneath him, unable to support their combined weight.

This also gives the clan members the ability to lower their external and internal body temperature, projecting intense coldness from his body. Like any normal human being's, the nerve centers for regulating the user's body temperature are found in the part of the brain called the hypothalamus. However, the user of this Kekki Genkai can mentally override his hypothalamus to allow his body temperature to be lowered by an unknown internal mechanism. This ability converts the latent thermal energies in and around his body into an unknown form of energy that is efficiently dissipated. A related mutation has rendered his body tissues unaffected by sub-zero temperatures. The user can consciously, immediately lower his body temperature from its normal 98.6 Fahrenheit to absolute zero (The point where all molecular motion stops.) and lower within the span of a few tenths of a second. One user of this ability has shown that his power to generate cold is so great, that he was able to stop a fusion core explosion (a massive nuclear explosion).

These clan members have a sense which alert them to the presence of others who have high chakra reserves(A-Rank ninja and up) through a cold sensation (sometimes causing him to shiver) and a wisp of blue mist that comes out of his mouth as if they were seeing their own breath due to cold)

As his body temperature falls, the surrounding moisture in the air that is in contact with him is similarly lowered. Just as condensed moisture forms frost, this moisture forms an icy covering which encompasses the user's entire body. It also obscures his facial features. When the user first begins to completely lower his body temperature, this covering took on a more snow-like appearance. But as he learned to increase the severity of his coldness, the covering assumed the consistency of crystalline ice that it has today. This ice constantly cracks with any movement of his body, and immediately reforms. (Hence, there is a cracking sound when the user, covered with ice, moves.) Through practice, every member of this clan has learned to control the intensity of his coldness, and he can selectively lower the temperature of isolated parts of his body.

This also allows the ability to control moisture such as to freeze any air moisture into super-hard ice. This ice can be formed into any object of his choosing: the only limitations are his own imagination, and the ambient air temperature which determines how long his ice sculpture will stay icy. He does not have to hold the ice physically with his hands in order to shape it. Apparently he can simply direct the waves of coldness he projects in certain ways so as to create ice in the shape he desires. SubZero clan members have a practically unlimited supply of moisture at all times since it is always present in the surrounding air or environment. Even desert air has sufficient moisture content for him to make practical use of. However, the mental effort needed to employ this Kekki Genkai could eventually fatigue the user and render their freezing ability temporarily dysfunctional


- Clan Training :: The members of this clan are adept in the art of swordsmanship and carry a trademark "bushido-style" katana. At some point prior to acquiring the Mist Village, they acquired a taste for bladed combat, and received lessons in sword technique from the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. In the time since then, they presumably developed their own style and exhibits an incredible degree of skill as a swordsman, being capable of delivering multiple precision strikes at lightning-fast speed. Combined with their hyperspeed they attack their opponents with their swords and if successful can hit up to sixteen times in a split-second, as just C class, which improves vastly as their powers emerge. Also, SubZero clan members have shown to be able to throw their sword with pin-point accuracy, as evidenced by being able to stab through an opponent, completely missing every vital organ and muscle. These skills are obtained through combat.

- Population :: This is a small elite group of shinobi whom are all related to eachother, however they have only been around for three generations and have yet to expand on a large scale.

Hayato, nornmally, I wouldn't bother checking this, but revy asked me too, so i'm obliged too. Firstly, about the clan training, being trained by the SSOTM is up to the SSOTM leader, not you,xd. Secondly, just because they are trained to such things with a sword doesn;t mean they would be as fast as Minatao.. That many strikes in a split second is rivaling gates level, and this KKg isn't even about swords, it;s about ice. I'd say just remove that from the clan all together and get the sword skills sorted out ine ach individual character APP, since they can be dealt with via weaknes balance. Sides, you would also need kenjutsu to even come close to that skill, so any genin members couldn't have both as you need ninjutsu of chunnin class for the wind and water. I also think they would be forced to go with tai as a 3rd specialty at S rank to keep such speeds.
