Audience with the Mizukage

Makai came to a halt as he stood within Kirigakure no Sato. He reached behind his back with a shaky hand as he withdrew a small bottle of pills from one of his back pouches. He opened the lid taking two small blue pills and throwing them in his mouth. Hana grabbed a canteen and held it to his lips as he took a sip and swallowed the pills with a loud gulp. He breathed in wheezing slightly. Makai slowly shut his eyes as the pills rapidly took affect pain leaving his chest as he could breathe easily but still drawing in raspy breaths. Makai slowly placed his odachi on his back as he took a steady step forward. Many were staring towards them eyes brows raised mostly towards the half dead Raikage. The seven foot five inch tall kage slowly made his way towards the Mizukage's palace steadying himself as he forced down his disease for however brief he could.

Makai turned his attention to the gates in front of the Mizukage's palace. He eyed the two Anbu carefully his stone cold black eyes staring straight at them. The blood red snake like slitted pupils seemed to glow as he eyed them easily towering over them. His Haori flapped open as his arms stood by his sides. He spoke in a commanding tone towards the two.

"I am Makai Kasai the current Raikage of Kumogakure. I would like to request an audience with the Mizukage!" spoke Makai his voice cold no emotion in it as he held back his coughing. The moment he finished speaking he began to cough again. He retrieved his blood stained cloth and coughed violently into it more blood staining the white silk. His medics rushing to his side once more as he fell to his right knee. The two medics slowly helped

The ANBU unit placed outside of the Palace of the Mizukage stared at the Raikage, though only through their eyes beneath their mask. Their heads didn;t move at all, even with how tall he may have been. As he made his request, the two remained still, and took a minute to think before taking any action. They watched as he coughed up the blood, and fell to one knee. They knew this man was indeed the Raikage, just out of instinct as being an ANBU Member. The ANBU to the left of the gate spoke "Just a moment..". And with that, both ANBU disappeared in a flash. Not even a second after the first unit had disappeared, a second unit immediately appeared, right in the other units position. If someone were slow, they'd think they were the same ANBU, though one could tell the ANBU members apart by the designs they wore on their masks, and these ANBU had different designs then the previous. As the two ANBU stood there guarding the gate to the palace yard, this yard of which being somewhat small, and blocked off on the sides by the two great walls that extend out through the village, with many tunnels for people to pass through. The unit that had disappeared, reappeared within the Palace, at the ground level, and passed the message of the Raikage's visit to a member of the palace, that was sitting at a large desk. After the message had been passed, she passed it onto a Jounin that had been sitting on the other side of the room, that was blocked off by a large wall. She passed the message through a small window, and the Jounin on the other side nodded, and went to retrieve the Mizukage. The current Mizukage went by the name of Revy Izumi. Revy being just a nickname, as her actual name was Rebecca Izumi. She was reported to be the youngest Kage ever in the mist, at the age of 18.

As the Jounin opened the door to the Mizukages room, he got visual sight of her, asleep on her bed. She wasn't beneath the covers, and it had looked as if she passed out by accident while laying down. She was dressed in her regular outfit :

The top of her outfit was somewhat revealing, as all she wore was the white wrappings, meant to cover some of her skin, but also to hold her chest when fighting, or doing basic ninja tasks. But she had taken a high liking to her outfit, and began wearing it daily sometime ago. Other then her usual outfit, she wore no shoes, being just in her bare feet with a thin cloth that wrapped around the center of her foot, and around her ankles, thats usually hidden when wearing the Ninja sandals.

The Jounin quickly woke Revy, and gave her the message, about the Raikage suddenly showing up at the gates. It surprised her a little, that someone would really travel all the way out here, but as Mizukage she had to tend to this matter. Even if she wanted to just lie down and fall back asleep. Nodding her head to the Jounin, he made his way back to the ground level, opened the front doors, and made a gesture to the ANBU unit standing at the front gate. The gates immediately opened, and the Jounin motioned for the party to come in, as he would guide them to the office of the Mizukage, where Revy was thought to currently be at. Though what he didn't know, is that just after leaving, Revy had fallen back asleep.

Makai looked up breathing in slowly as the anbu spoke to them before they vanished. Makai's eyes narrowed as he watched as two new guards took their place. He shut his eyes waiting as he stay kneeling allowing himself to catch his breath and for his disease to settle down. He placed a hand against his sides just over his left lung. Makai slowly slipped his silk cloth into his pouch as he felt his strength returning to him slowly by gradually. The weakened Raikage slowly got to his feet with the support of his medics. He slowly opened his eyes as he stood there arms by his side. Takeshi and Hanataro exchanged worried looks between one another as Hana and Kirino tended to their leader. Makai held up a hand in a stop motion, 'Hana Kirino...cough...converse your chakra" coughed out the Raikage.

The two medics bowed and took a step back away from their leader giving him some space. Makai looked up at the tower all the while wondering just how long would this take and what kind of person the Mizukage was. He contemplated on asking the two anbu but held that thought back deciding not to speak to them. After all he doubted they would give out any information regarding their leader without her permission. Makai's eyes turned towards that of his two guards. He locked eyes their heads at their leader as if to say they wouldn't. Makai turned his attention as the front doors to the palace opened up and Jounin appeared making a gesture to the anbu standing guard at the gate. Makai took a step back as the gates started to open the Jounin motioning towards the party of five to come in. Makai slowly made his way through his black hakama pants brushing against his legs. His hands vanishing into the sleeves of his kimono as the sleeves fell past his knees.

His four companies followed in after standing around Makai. Makai kept his usual calm, cold and collected facial expression as he headed into the unknown. His eyes moved from side to side taking in everything committing it to memory as the Jounin escorted them through the palace, being there guide to the office of the Mizukage. Makai folded his hands together his Haori draped over his arms hiding them from view as he walked slowly behind the Jounin. His hands rested in front of him, as a small scroll slipping down his sleeve into his hands. His fingers ran along the scroll, the scroll was one of the many reasons he had wanted to Kirigakure. There were two things he wanted to achieve while in Kirigakure one was an alliance with the Mizukage and the second he would speak privately to the Mizukage about. Even if he trusted his four guards he didn’t trust them enough to reveal the secret of the scroll he carried on him at all times. At the moment he didn’t even trust the Mizukage, but he would put that aside it was an important matter and if not revealed would mean the extinction of his families bloodline.

THe Mizukage who had fallen asleep was clueless about the footsteps that now filled her palace. The 4 Jounin, including the Raikage himself, as well as the Jounin guiding them to her office all had their shoes on, so the footsteps, in such a continous manner, could be heard through the walls as they passed the exact room Revy had fallen asleep in, in order to reach her office. The door was closed, though the footsteps easily passed through. Revy was a heavy sleeper, so she had remained asleep for the time being. As the Jounin who was guiding the party of 5 opened the door to the Mizukage's office, he immediately bowed down and began speaking in a polite manner, as if the Mizukage were sitting at her desk. Only halfway through his speech, he decided to look up, and a look of surprise, or stupidity crossed his face as he cut off his sentence midway. The Mizukage was nowhere to be found inside of her office. The Jounin immediately stood up, with a slight look of embarrassment on his face, and politely asked the group to wait inside of the office, to clear the hallway for those passing by. After the group entered the office, he left the room, and closed the door behind himself. Walking as fast as he could to the Mizukages room, he flung the door open nervously and quickly began shaking Revy by her shoulders, in an attempt to wake her up. "My lady, wake yourself quickly! The Raikage is already awaiting you inside of your office!" He said nervously, but quietly.

Revy leaned up with a yawn, and stood up rubbing her eyes. The Jounin bowed, and immediately left the room. Following that, Revy left the room as well, and closed the door behind her. She slowly walked down the hallway, waking herself up as fast as she could, rubbing her eyes, and straightening her hair which was pulled into a ponytail, or at least the back half of her hair was. Her bangs, and hair on the sides of her head remained down. Although her hair was in a ponytail, it didn't stay bunched up as it extended down, but rather hung down in a flat way, as if it wasn't held together towards the top at all. As Revy approached her office, she rubbed her dark blue eyes one last time, her eyes of which had a unique mixture of a black and blue color, and slowly opened the door. She peaked in for a moment first, and saw 5 people standing in her office. A moment after, she walked in at a regular pace, and walked through the group of people. While walking through, it was as if they were all somewhat taller then her, but once she had caught eye of the Raikage, she had to tilt her head back, to see up to see him. She continued walking, made her way around her desk, and sat down on her chair, behind her desk. There were 3 seats in front of the desk, of which any 3 people could take a seat. Placing her elbows on her desk, Revy leaned forward in her chair a little, crossed her legs, and placed her hands against her mouth, together. She simply stared at the people in front of her.

Makai walked to the Mizukage's office alongside the Jounin of Kiri and his own party members. He watched as the Jounin bowed and opened the door to the Mizukage's office and began to speak politely. Makai raised an eyebrow as he stared into the office finding that the Mizukage wasn't even in her office. He turned to the Jounin noticing he had noticed as well a look of embarrassment on his face as he politely asked them to wait inside to clear the hallway for those passing by. Makai watched his retreating form as he quickly headed off into another location closing the office door behind him. Makai folded his arms over as he stood there waiting for the Mizukage to arrive. Makai opened the door to the office walking inside with his companies his arms remaining folded an unimpressed look clear on his features only to vanish a second later.

Not long after the door to the office opened up as the young Mizukage walked in looking as if she had just woken up. Makai remained impassive as always not giving any thought what so ever to her current looks. His eyes narrowed as he watched her carefully as she walked through the group to her desk. She tilted her head back slightly as she sat at her desk her elbows on the desk as she leaned forward in her chair her hands against her mouth as she stared at them. Makai stared down at her standing straight. He turned to his four guards and spoke in his raspy yet cold voice, 'Hana, Takeshi, Hanataro, Kirino...cough...wait with the guards...cough.." The four bowed and left through the door heading back through the hallway and outside to stand with the Anbu guarding the gate.

Makai turned to the Mizukage getting a good look at her. She was definitely young for a Kage she seemed to be what eighteen maybe nineteen years of age possibly twenty just by glancing at her. He had only been a kage for five years but he hadn't met any Kage as young as her. Either Kirigakure was desperate or weak or she was just exceedingly strong for someone her age. As it is said the new generation will surpass the old. The Raikage took a single step back raising his left hand to his lips coughing slightly into it. He slowly sat down directly in front of the Mizukage. A few stray bangs flapped in front of his face as black spikes framed his pale features.

"No doubt...cough...you’re wondering...cough...why I'm here...cough...Mizukage-sama" spoke the Raikage coughing in-between his sentences. He raised his right hand producing a small scroll was three foot in length and black as night. At the ends of the scroll was a white phoenix. Wrapped around the scroll was red flames.

Watching the Raikage in front of her, Revy leaned back in her chair and placed her hands on her lap. She watched as the Raikage spoke, and cauighed every few words. This being a sign that he either had a really bad cough, or he was rather sick. Though Revy was a klutz at times, she wasn't stupid, and was able to easily tell that he was sick, because if it were just a temporary sickness, any kage would most likely have waited until they were feeling better to travel to another country. That, or perhaps he got sick on the way here. Whichever the case was, Revy snapped her fingers the moment the Raikage finished speaking, and 2 ninja immediately walked into the room, both adorned in Medical robes. They both bowed down, and looked to the Raikage. They were both cheerful, and wore white masks over their mouth. THey examined him for a moment, and then both walked to opposite sides of the room, where they began doing a string of hand seals. As they had finished, a thick mist had filled the room. Though this mist was like no other. It was a type of remedy created in the form of a large mist that when breathed in, would ease the throat and the body, allowing one to breath much clearer if needed. It wasn't a permanent thing, as once one left the mist, the problems would soon act once again. The mist wasn't to dense, so it didn;t really bother the eyesight, but it was noticeable nonetheless.

With a quick bow, both medical ninja had left the room, being sure to close the door behind them, allowing for the mist to stay inside of the room. Just as the ninja left the room, Revy placed her eyes back on the Raikage, and noticed the scroll he had removed. She was indeed curious about why he was here, the Raikage himself of all people. She remained quiet for now, simply watching with her sharp eyes.

The Raikage raised an eyebrow slowly as he watched as ninja appeared as Revy snapped her fingers. The shinobi was adorned in medical robes both bowing as they looked at Makai. They walked to the opposite sides of the room and began to do a string of hand seals. As they finished a strange thick mist began to fill the room. Makai breathed in sharply only to find his breathing wasn't as raspy as it once was. He coughed slowly looking up at the young Mizukage. She was very quiet he would have to admit. it seems he would be doing all the talking what a pain. Makai cleared his throat as he drew a single kunai and cut him right thumb open. He pressed his thumb against the scroll as it began to unravel. He ran his blood across the scroll against a single kanji with the name 'Han Kasai'. In a puff of smoke appeared a small container filled with an odd liquid and numerous seals wrapped around it. The strange thing was sitting inside the container were two eyes. The eyes had a blue inner circle with a yellow slit for a pupil inside the circle. In the middle of the eye was a red ring between the ring and the blue inner circle it was shaded dark pink. The outside of the red ring was a purple shade. Sitting on the red ring was three dark blue tomoes.

Makai raised his left hand as he coughed into it. He began to cough harder being forced to pull out his white silk cloth coughing into the silk more blood staining it. As his cough calmed down he put the cloth away turning to face the Mizukage. He breathed in to calm down and slowly began to speak explaining himself to the Mizukage.

"I came here...cough...to discuss two things...cough. The first...cough...an alliance between...cough...Kumogakure and Kirigakure. Cough...the second half...cough...clan matters...cough...about giving your village...cough...my clans eyes...cough" spoke Makai as he laid back into the chair his chest rising up and down slowly

Gengan level 3:

Revy's eyebrow rose slightly as the puff of smoke revealed a jar with sealings placed around it. Being a master at sealings herself, she recognized the seals, but didn't speak about them. Within the jar was a pair of preserved eyes. The moment he spoke the words "clan", Revy knew exactly what this request may have been, but decided to look into it a little more after tending to the matter of an "alliance". "An Alliance.." Revy finally spoke. This was the first time she had been offered an alliance, so she didn't know exactly how to approach this topic. "I would have to get back to you another time..about the alliance.." She replied to the Raikage, trying not to seem rude. But an alliance would have to be discussed within the village before any decisions were made. Even if she was the Mizukage, she'd have to bring the subject up to some other members of her village before going through with it.

"But your clan..." She said while looking at the jar, then motioning her eyes back up to the eyes of the Raikage. "You wish to leave it under the protection of Kirigakure?"

Meanwhile... The jounin that had assisted the Raikage here, stood outside of the palace, beside the ANBU unit that was positioned to guard the gate. A true moment of awkwardness as the masked, cloaked figures stood there, and the Jounin stood slightly off to the side. It was quiet, and a strange yet awkward feeling filled the air as they all stood there quietly.

Makai nodded his head in understanding as she said she would have to get back to him about the alliance. He leaned forward as she mentioned his clan looking at the jar then before looking towards him. Makai coughs slightly as he grabbed the scroll allowing blood to drip on another name as another jar appeared containing another set but with only two tomoes in it. The Raikage reached behind his Haori pulling out another scroll a light blue one this time and sat it down beside the jars. She had some idea about what he wished but not the entire idea.

"Your half right...Cough. The second scroll...cough...contains a technique...cough...based down through my...cough...clan. It contains...cough...a fuuinjutsu...cough...designed by the first...cough...holder of my...cough...clans doujutsu. When the eyes...cough...are transplanted into another...cough...the fuuinjutsu when activated...cough...will mix the DNA of the eyes...cough with the person they were given to...cough...giving them my clans...cough...Doujutsu allowing them...cough...to pass it onto any...cough...children they may...cough...have." said Makai as he raised his hand coughing into it blood spilling into his palm. He wiped the blood off and glanced at the Mizukage.

"You might be wondering...cough...why I'm doing...cough...this. It's simple..cough...I don't have...cough...long left to live...cough. To ensure my clans...cough...bloodline lives...cough...I would like to entrust...cough...these two sets...cough...of eyes to your...cough...village and a copy...cough...of my clans Fuuinjutsu. Cough...Alongside these...cough...I will leave scrolls...cough...of all my techniques...cough...and my clans own...cough...secret techniques...cough...for any given my clans...cough...eyes to learn from." said Makai as he continued to cough.

Although an alliance was something Revy had to deny for the moment, due to village reasons, this mans dying wish was something she couldn't simply hold off on. Refusing something like this would just seem rude to her, so she took interested in what this man wished for. "Whatever you need done..i can probably do it..Just leave what must be done with me and I'll be sure that your clan will live on" Revy said, still just eying the man. She didn't know exactly what was wrong with him, or why he was going to die, but she didn't want to just barge her way into this mans life. Whatever requests he had, within reason, she can do, and that, she was sure, was all the Raikage wanted. But why he couldn't leave it in the care of his own village confused her slightly. Revy stood up, and walked over to a door on the side of the office. She opened the door, revealing a closet with few things in it, and placed her hand on the back wall. A seal activated upon her touch, and a second room was revealed, slightly bigger then the closet itself. It was made to hide things of importance from others of the village. "Whatever you wish to leave under my care, just leave them here...I'll be sure that your clan lives on, as a member of Kirigakure"

"But something confuses me....why do you seek help from a stranger? Someone you don't know? Putting your clan under the care of someone you have only met today...?"

Makai watched her carefully as she said she whatever would need to be done she could probably do it. That leave what must be done with her and shell be sure his clan will live on. makai watched as she stood up heading over to a door opening it up revealing a closet. He watched as she placed her on the back wall a seal activated upon her touch as a second room was revealed slightly bigger then the closet. Makai slowly climbed to his feet taking the set of eyes and the scroll being only a copy of the clans Fuuinjutsu technique. He steadily made his way to the closet settling the two jars down with the scroll beside them. He reached to his obi sash removing six scrolls one detailing the Doujutsu's abilities and name. The second his Akuma Ken no Jutsu style. The third his Tsukuyomi no Ken Genkenjutsu sword style. The fourth held his kanshiki ken no Jutsu. The fifth scroll detailed all of his custom Genjutsu and the sixth scroll held all of his custom Fuuinjutsu.

Makai turned to face her as she asked why would he seek help from a stranger why not someone he knew. Makai stared at the young Mizukage with his hardened eyes. He made his eyes way over to the seat he previously sat in taking a seat one more.

"In my village...cough...There’s very few I trust...cough. The Council had...cough...been trying for years..cough...to force me into...cough...loveless marriages to force...cough...me to have children...cough all for my clans...cough...doujutsu and the secrets...cough... of obtaining the...cough.... of the Kyouka Meimugan (Mirror Flower Illusion Eye)...cough...which will die with me." Makai slowly shut his eyes channelling chakra to them. His eyes flew open turning dark purple. Inside his eye appeared a six petal-ed flower with yellow and black petals with bits of light blue on the inside. The middle of the flower was the eye a dark shade of red with a light blue slit. The moment he activated his Doujutsu he started to cough violently retrieving his cloth to cough into it. He took a sharp breathe as his eyes slowly deactivated.

"I'd rather trust...cough...a complete stranger...cough....then to my...cough...own village however...cough...sad it is" said Makai as he sat back in the chair to catch his breath.

Revy nodded her head, and made her way back to her seat as well, after sealing the wall back up, and closing the door to the closet. She looked towards the man when he spoke of his Dojutsu, and her eyes widened as he activated what looked like a rather powerful stage of it. Being in possession of a unique and mutated Dojutsu herself, Revy somewhat knew the feeling he had, though hers was currently a secret that not even her village known about. Legends of the old spoke of her Dojutsu, known as the Mokugan..or the Eye of the 4 Horsemen. If word of her Dojutsu got out to soon, it could scare her village into thinking that the village was cursed, and was going to be destroyed by some type of apocalyptic cause. That, or even the world. Of course, only those who have a high knowledge of the Mokugan itself, or are aware of it's existence in those legends, as the books are old, and have been destroyed with time. Only the elders, or those with the book still know about the existence of the Mokugan, and even then, they believe it to be just a myth. Those legends state:


Although that much she understood, she didn't quite understand how things in Kumo worked that way, as Kirigakure worked differently then most other villages. To her knowledge anyway. After taking her seat, she looked towards the Raikage once more. "If you wish, you may stay here for a while until your are feeling well enough to travel to Kumo..if not, I'll arrange a guide, as well as a boat at the docks, to guide you back safely" She said to the Raikage, out of hospitality.

Unless of course, there was more business he had here in Kumo that she wasn't aware of.

Makai watched the mizukage as she sat back down in her seat after closing the secret closet back up. Makai held back a smile that threatened to form as she said that he was welcome to stay in Kiri for a while, until he was feeling well enough to travel to kumo stating she would arrange a guide as well as a boat from the docks. "That is ...cough... fine Mizukage-sama. My Jounin...cough... shall assist me as...cough...they have done...cough... before" said Makai as he placed his hands on the side of his chair.

He slowly climbed to his feet his legs shaking as he did. He placed a hand on his knee as he stood. He looked up at the Mizukage speaking again, "There is one...cough...last thing...cough...Mizukage-dono. If you...cough...hear news of my...cough...death please head...cough...immediately to...cough...Kumogakure" said Makai he placed a hand on one of his wakizashi.

"The five swords..cough...I carry are...cough...heirlooms of the Kasai...cough...family and in my...cough...death and no Kasai's....cough...remain in Kumo...cough...these blades...cough...will be given to Kirigakure...cough...to be handed...cough...to those with...cough...my clans eyes...cough" explained Makai. The five blades seemed to glow as a blue aurora appeared around them. Makai grabbed a scroll placing it in front of Revy. The scroll unrolled stating the owner ship of the Makai's swords would be handed over to Kumo in his death and if his Doujutsu no longer remained in Kumogakure. At the bottom of the page was his signature and stamp, 'Present this...cough...and the blades...cough...will be given...cough...to your village"

Revy nodded her head once more, and kept her eye on the sickly man. As he stood up, his knees shook a bit, and he had placed his hand on his knee to help his balance. She could tell this man might not have very long to live, because of his condition, or even much longer to remain Raikage, or a ninja at all. Just as a precaution, she would later arrange one of the unoccupied houses of Kirigakure to be reserved for the Raikage and his band of 4, in case something happens to hold them back for a day or two. Just ash she stood up, the Raikage mentioned another thing. A request for her to obtain his 4 swords at his death, and him handing over possession of them to her, with death being what executes the request. Revy nodded her head, and looked at the glowing blades he carried. She hadn't noticed until now, but recognized something about those swords. They seemed both familiar, and strange in a way, yet she had never seen them before. She could feel the presence of the blades as if they were people themselves, but hadn't noticed until this moment. Something was truly strange about these swords, and maybe that was why the Raikage had wished to pass them on to the next member of the Kasai.

Revy reached out and took the scroll the Raikage had placed on the desk. She took a brief look at it, and slid inside of a pouch that was hidden between her, and the belt of the large rough skirt she wore around her waist, on her backside. Revy was no ameature with swords of course, and held a truly unique sword herself. Two of them in fact, though the one she carried on her, being the Raijin, was capable of being hidden easily, due to the sword, when not in use, is just a handle and a guard. Raijin, being a truly remarkable weapon, capable of cutting through chakra itself, and is often looked at as something not of this world. Raijin remains hidden from all but Revy as of now, as she keeps it a secret, and never draws it in public. Her second sword being Yata No Kagami, was right behind her, off to the side of the chair slightly. It was sheathed in it's scabbard, and leaned against the large glass wall that gave a nice view of the village behind her. Just then, the same Jounin from before had knocked on the door, and walked in soon after. He bowed his head respectively, and went to retrieve the Raikage's partners from outside, just as Revy motioned.

Makai watched as the mizukage took the scroll placed on her desk before hiding it away, Makai nodded his head as he sat down slowly as the Jounin from before knocked on the door walking in bowing his head respectively before leaving to fetch the Raikages partners. Makai looked at the Mizukage watching her carefully. He moved his right hand to his left side placing a hand on his katana with a wooden handle. He slowly drew the four foot five inch blade. The blue aurora around it darkened as he drew it. He slowly stood up the blade by his side held loosely between his fingers. His emotionless eyes fixated upon the Mizukage as he lifted the blade slowly pointing the handle towards her as he held it in a reverse grip.

"Mizukage-Dono...cough....I would to...cough...request a spar...cough...with you. I would...cough...like to see the...cough...strength of...cough... the new generation...cough...of Kage's. If you think...cough...my disease will...cough...slow me down...cough...your dead wrong...cough. Besides it has...cough...been awhile since...cough...i last fought at...cough...Kage Level" said Makai as he eyed her carefully. Even though the Raikage was sick he held a commanding and powerful Aurora around his body. His eyes hardened from years of battles showing the experience and knowledge he had earned while ruling as the Raikage and fighting on the front lines as a Shinobi of Kumogakure.

The reason why Makai wanted to fight against the Mizukage was quite simple. He wanted to see just how strong the new Generation was. It was young said that the new generation shall surpass the old and he wanted to see if that was true or not. Besides having since met her had spiked an interest in him and an old flame of war. He wanted to test her strength to see just how strong she was. She had gained the title of Mizukage at such a young age so no doubt she had the power deserving of such a rank.

After the Jounin had left to retrieve the Raikages partners, the Raikage himself stood up, and began drawing one of the blades he wore. One with a wooden handle, and had a feing aura to it. As he slowly drew it from it's scabbard, Revy's eyes widened a little. She wondered if maybe he had yet another request for her. Or maybe he would attack her. But instead, he held the handle in a reverse grip fashion, and requested a spar with the Mizukage. Revy knew this would come sooner or later, as she figured this guy was the Raikage after all, and Revy was the Mizukage. Though the difference in them is that Revy is still young, and in age, is younger then most Jounin of her village, and others villages as well. Out of the Kage in total, she was rumored to be the youngest. Revy stood up in her seet, slowly, with her hands on the arms of the chair as she lifted, she glared the Raikage in the eyes, and folded her arms across her chest. "If you insist..." She replied with.

Makai twirled the blade in his hand holding it back within a reverse grip. His eyes watching the young Mizukage carefully as she stood up her arms folded across her chest as she glared at him. He held back a smirk as she replied to his request. Makai looked her in the eyes his eyes emotionless as always unfazed what so ever by her glare. Haori flapped as he grabbed it with his left hand pulling it from his shoulders and placing it over the handle of his sword. He retrieved one of his sealing scrolls and unrolled it pressing the seal against his cloak making it vanish in a puff of smoke before placing his scroll onto his obi sash, "Then lead the...way...cough...Mizukage-dono. You know this...cough...village better than I" coughed out the Raikage as he stood there waiting patiently. He was eager to fight the Mizukage to see what she was capable of.

Revy watched as he used a sealing scroll to seal his cloak within, and kinda wondered why he didn't just take it off, or wrap it around his waist. Though she didn't think to much about it, so she backed up, and leaned against the large glass window, with her arms folded across her chest still. "Now may not be the best time..you should rest up first. Then we will have our battle" Revy replied to him, knowing that he hasn't rested since he had gotten here. The day was getting late, and people had already begun clearing the streets of Kirigakure, and the young being put to bed. She knows it would be a better idea if the Raikage and his friends had rested up for the night, and when they are more energized, the showdown can begin.

Just at that moment, the Jounin, as well as the Raikages assistants had entered the room. It looked as if they were confused as to why the Raikage had removed his robe, and had drawn his sword. They immediately took defense to their Raikage, and seemed confused as to what was going on, but knew their job was to defend their Kage. Immediately jumping into action, they quickly armed themselves as if they were ready to attack Revy, but held a defense in front of the Raikage. The Jounin of the Mist, remained still, not knowing what exactly was going on.

Makai stared at the Mizukage as she backed up leaning against the large glass window her arms remaining folded across her chest as she spoke to him. She said that the current time might not be the best to time spar since he should rest up first. Makai watched turned as the door to the as it opened as his assistants walked in instantly taking defensive positions around their kage. He shut his eyes and sighed as they seemed ready to attack to the Mizukage. His killer intent flared to startle the four before it vanished as quickly as it came. He sheathed his blade folding his arms over his chest as he locked eyes with the Mizukage. He took a few steps forward so his Jounin stood behind him.

"In battle your...cough...opponent will never..cough...give you the time...cough...to rest and...cough...recover. I am...cough...able to spar regardless...cough...of my condition" spoke the Raikage. He turned his attention to his four companies and stared at them with his hardened eyes, "Stand down...cough...there is no dangers...cough...here that you should...cough...be concerned with" spoke Makai as he turned his attention back to the Mizukage. His four Jounin’s bowed respectively and stood in a line besides one another. They bowed deeply to the Mizukage as if to apologise.

"If you insist..." The Mizukage spoke in slight disappointment. Revy walked to the side, and gripped the sheathe of her sword. The sheathe, or scabbard of which was designed of a thin light blue cloth, with a white cloth wrapped around it, in a messy fashion, similar to the cloth Revy has wrapped around her. She lifted it up, and placed the long white strap on it over her head, and rested it on her shoulder. This placed the sword on her back, with the handle off to the side of her head. Revy was still in her bare feet, and stood there for a moment, looking at the ground. It may have looked like she was in a deep thought, but she was actually wondering where she had last put her sandals. She was rather clumsy at times, and could sometimes easily forget things like that. Ignoring those few who were still in her office, she walked to the closet door, and slid it open. Looking in for a moment, she looked disappointed, and slid the door closed. Turning around, she began looking all around the floor, thinking maybe she had left them out somewhere, but she saw nothing.

Revy walked back to her desk, and looked around it, then had kneeled down, and spotted them beneath the desk. Getting on all 4's and crawling under for a moment, she sat down beneath the desk, and fastened her ninja sandals on her feet, making sure they were on properly, and wouldn't slip off. As she began climbing out, she bumped her head on the desk when she stood up, and held the top of her head for a moment, before looking back and noticing that the Raikage and his friends were still there. The Mist Jounin, who was there as well had a slight look of embarrassment, and was thinking that the Raikage was thinking that the Mizukage must be a klutz, or a child. Revy stood up straight, still rubbing the top of her head a little, and adjusted the band that crossed her chest, from the sword that hung on her back. After doing so, she quickly walked towards the door, not even eying the Raikage or his group, with a slight serious look on her face. She tried to act serious, and act as if her clumsiness had never happened.

Makai watched the Mizukage as she walked to the side and gripped the sheath of her sword lifting the blade up and placed the long white strap over her head resting it on her shoulder. The blade positioned along her back. Makai noticed that she seemed to be staring at the ground as if deep in thought before she walked to the closet door and slid it open. A strange disappointed look on her face as she slid the door shut before she began looking around the floor for something. The Mizukage walked to her desk kneeling down getting on all fours. He could see what she was doing under there but next thing she bumped her head on the desk as she stood up. He turned to the Kiri jounin noticing he looked embarrassed. It seemed the Mizukage was a klutz. Then again most Shinobi had their little quirks. The Mizukage stood up straight rubbing the top of her head before walking to the door with a serious look on her face.

Makai held back a sweat drop that threatened to form at the Mizukage's actions. He shrugged it off and ordered Takeshi and Hanataro to remain behind while ordering Hana and Kirino to follow just encase either one of them needed any medical attention. Makai held his sword by his side as he took a step forward intending to follow the Mizukage to the next location.

Revy walked through the doorway, and continued until she eventually left the building. The Raikage would most likely follow behind her as she led to the area where they had intended on fighting. After reaching the gates of the Palace, the immediately opened to the presence of the Mizukage, and the ANBU Unit still remained on the opposite side, outside of the gate. With a small flick of the wrist from Revy, after raising her hand, the two ANBU understood perfectly what it meant. After the Raikage has left the palace gates, they may leave the gate open, and go on a small break for a while. As Revy made her way down the street, many of those who were still out at this time of day bowed to the Mizukage, and spoke many kind words to her as she passed by, headed to where her and the Raikage shall spar.

Makai followed after her as she walked through the doorway leaving the building. Makai kept his hands by his sides his sword still in hand as he followed her., He watched as she make a small flick of her wrist after raising her hand as if to tell the the guards not to worry. The raikage followed her down the streets watching as the villages day to her and seemed to be muttering amongst each other. Makai shut one eye keeping the other eye open as he followed her off to the training field to spar with her,
